Cookie policy
This page says what AuraHR stores in your browser for the marketing site, the recruiter panel and a company’s careers page, why, and for how long.
Before you choose
Until you press Accept or Reject, and if you press Reject, we do not store an identifier on this device. We still count an anonymous page view so we know the page was opened. That count is not tied to you on a later visit.
If you accept
We store a cookie named aurahr.consent for 180 days, remembering that you accepted this version of the policy. PostHog, our analytics processor, then stores its own first-party cookies on this host to recognise the browser.
On the marketing site and the recruiter panel we record pages, clicks and a replay of the session. On the panel, replay hides all text and everything typed, because that screen shows candidate information. The careers page records pages and clicks only, never a replay, and never your name.
If you sign in, the panel links the browser to your account id. We do not send your name or email. A global administrator is marked so their visits can be left out of reports.
How long
The consent cookie lasts 180 days. If this policy changes, we ask again. PostHog keeps events for up to a year on the plan we use, and session replays for a shorter time. Rejecting, or choosing Cookie settings and then Reject, deletes the analytics cookies on this host.
Who receives it
PostHog is the processor, on its EU cloud, so the data stays in the European Union. AuraHR is the controller for the marketing site and the recruiter panel. On a careers page the company named there uses AuraHR to run the page; the visitor is not identified.
The interview itself, where a candidate is assessed, has no analytics and no cookie banner.
